I'm only is styduing it

How will make this subj to The Slackware 9.0?
I didn't paths of it on the kernel-2.4.20 witch attachment with 
Slackware 9.0 on it's cd.
I fond patchs to this kernel and kernel faulted after it only.
Where can I read abot this problem?
