There was a little thread recently on Linux Today about official inclusion of XFS in the 2.5 kernel. One interchange went like this: > when is XFS going in? anyone know ? Not anytime soon. The parts of XFS that overlap with generic kernel code have to be cut out and put into pieces that can be used by other filesystems.
