Re: Direct I/O and Oracle
Not sure about current Oracle implementations on Linux, but typically
you have to specify _any_ type of non-standard FS IO with some init.ora
parameters, like USE_DIRECT_IO = true or so. In earlier times there was
something like a platform specific documentation where these and other
features were mentioned.
