Antwort: Re: Nillion files NFS/XFS
Hallo everybody,
I'm using the new driver >SYM53C8XXX Version 2 Scsi support< on two
different system (server with Redhat 7.2 with xfs) and on my PC (standard
Redhat 7.2). It works very good.
Best regards
Andreas

This is the "original" Linux NCR/Symbios/LSI Logic driver. I would NOT use
this,
but favor the BSD-ported ones (the following two drivers) or even the new
"Version 2" driver:
>NCR53C8XXX SCSI Support
>SYM53C8XXX SCSI Support
The SYM driver is the successor of the NCR driver. Unless your SCSI host is
"old" (which I don't assume because you have a 53C875) you should use the
latter
of the above two.
>SYM53C8XXX Version 2 Scsi support
This driver is brand-new and supposed to be the successor to the SYM53C8xx
driver, so I guess this is the best choice of all the above drivers.
Can't comment on performance, tho.
