kernel upgrade question.
I have 2 boxes running the SGI-XFS install of Redhat 7.1 with all of the
updates including kenel 2.4.9-21SGI_XFS_1.0.2. I have kept both boxes
up to date according to Redhat and have used the patched kernel RPM's
from the SGI ftp site. I am currently using 2.4.9-21SGI_XFS_1.0.2 and
used the RPM's found at
"ftp://oss.sgi.com/projects/xfs/download/Release-1.0.2/kernel_rpms/i386/contributed-RH-updates/2.4.9-21-RH7.1/".
My question is with regards to 2.4.9-31 kernel upgrade. Will a simular
set of RPM's be available to keep in line with Redhat? If not, should I
go to 2.4.14? If I should go to 2.4.14, do I have to do anything to use
them on a original 1.0.1 install?
Thanks.
