Ok, tried at lilo prompt: linux rootflags=logdev=/dev/sde2

Sadly this results in a kernel panic as well.

After the NET4 unix domain sockets message something like this appears:

EXT2-fs: Unrecognized mount option logdev
Unable to handle kernel NULL pointer dereference at virtual address 00000000
.
.
<0> Kernel panic: Attempted to kill init

Bug?
