TAKE - 2.5 merge, ia64 fixup

The 2.5 merge is also done now.  There was a minor stuff
up with the IA64 syscall numbering - despite the patch I
sent to the maintainer (which was accepted too), another
syscall has slipped in ahead of the xattr ones.  With any
luck that wont happen again but there's not much I can do
about it..
