Ok, I guess this is a difference between Irix and Linux...

bonnie% touch feh
bonnie% ls -li feh

bonnie% chown 0.0 feh
bonnie% ls -li feh

bonnie% uname -a

bonnie% rm feh
feh: 644 mode. Remove ? (yes/no)[no] : y

Perhaps we should be more Linux-like here, though...
