chown32() weirdness

It seems XFS is suprisingly "empowering" these days :)
Below is a transcript which shows a problem with recent CVS kernels.
It's the CVS version from today (see the uname output).
bzzrt:/home/wsl% cd /tmp
bzzrt:/tmp% id
