I have. Started with 2.4.17 and applied -pre7-ac2. Patching in XFS to that
hybrid was pretty much the same scenario as has been described above. Of
course, I subsequently applied the kaio and post/wait patches, which took a
bit more work (make sure you don't miss include/asm/unistd.h).

Mild torture testing of said kernel has yet to uncover any instability, but
please don't make any serious bets, as I'm using gcc-3.0.3 to compile
everything (including glibc).
