I don't know how to fix this, but I'd like to let the list know of my
setup which works:

 o Linux kernel 2.4.9 from the XFS CVS tree
 o NFSv3 using the kernel server v0.3.2
 o Debian GNU/Linux sid (unstable tree)

Things seem to work fine although I must admit that load is not that high
yet. But mounting works, and transfer rates are almost wire speed. I use
NFS mainly to transfer files to a workstation running a similar setup that
takes care of burning ISOs. Unfortunately the system is not quite able to
stream the ISOs, so I still need to copy them to a local hard drive. I
will not have to do this when I upgrade to a BURN-Proof CD writer, though.
