Interesting, I don't think we changed any of this, looking at the patch
for mk-images.i386, all we do is add XFS to the mix.

msdos and vfat are available in the second stage of the installer:

-SECSTAGE="msdos vfat raid0 raid1 raid5 $IDEMODS $SCSIMODS $LATEUSBMODS"
+SECSTAGE="xfs msdos vfat raid0 raid1 raid5 $IDEMODS $SCSIMODS
$LATEUSBMODS"

but Red Hat never had the fat module available on i386, although they do
in ia64... so not sure what's going on!  Perhaps this is a bug in Red
Hat as well?

One way around this might be to turn off the controller (or otherwise
BIOS-disable) the drive with the offending filesystem, assuming it's on
a separate drive...
