XFS behaviour on "bad" disks.

Hi !

I am currently using xfs on SCSI disks and I have some problem with
the SCSI card : my box crashed several time under heavy condition. I
am investigating the problem and I have a proper backup of all my
data.

Suppose that the SCSI card or the SCSI disk is not reliable, not
because it can crash the system (I suppose this is correctly handled,
like a power shortage) but because :

  1. it can read an incorrect bit
  2. it can write an incorrrect bit
  3. it can produce a permanent failure error (like a bad sector on a
     floppy disk)

What is the behaviour of XFS in regards of these three cases ? I don't
think the first two cases happen really but I care about the last one.
