DMA problems with XFS

I'm testing out an XFS install on one of our systems here. The system:

  ASUS CUR-DLS motherboard
  Dual 866 MHz Pentium III
  4 Gb Memory
61.5 Gb IBM Deskstar ATA/IDE Disk

When I install vanilla RedHat 7.1, I get no problems. But, when I install
from the RH7.1-SGI-XFS-1.0.1.iso CDs, I get some strange DMA messages
regarding hda:

  Start mounting filesystem: ide0(3,5)
  hda: timeout waiting for DMA
  ide_dmaproc: chipset supported ide_dma_timeout func only: 14
  hda: status error: status=0x58 { DriveReady SeekComplete DataRequest }
hda: drive not ready for command
Ending clean XFS mount for filesystem: ide0(3,5)

The system comes up correctly and runs fine, but every once in a while
(when there's lots of disk activity) it will complain once again about
timeouts waiting for DMA, and sometimes other messages that say "DMA
disabled". Once again, no other problems that I can see, but the error
messages just get me nervous. Is there a reason for these messages?
I don't get them when running vanilla RedHat 7.1, so they seem to be a
product of the XFS installation...

Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks,

Jorge
