pagebuf in kernel causes abnormal behavior

ok. i tried it very hard.

i installed XFS1.0 and XFS1.0.1 (CVS) and the system hangs/reboots
in a file system stress tests (fs-bench).  no metter if i stress
test the xfs or the ext2, in the file creation part the system dies.
i tried without pagebuf and xfs and everything work (only ext2 test,
of cause). but if i just include pagebuf or pagebuf and
xfs the system dies.

brief hardwareprofile:
2 x  Pentium III (Coppermine) 930.434MHz
768MB RAM
Tyan Thunder LE, S2510U3NG
36GB IBM  Model: DDYS-T36950N   Rev: S93E
with onboard symbios x1010 U160 SCSI

no more further details, because i do this all remote. so, no oops
or dumps.

hope you will fix it soon. i'm out if there is no hint how to solve
it.

thanks for your work anyway. all the rest worked well. i like to
have xfs on linux and so on.
