Post/Wait is an efficient, fast, lightweight sleep/wakeup/timer mechanism used between a cooperating group of processes. This implementation of Post/Wait has both a kernel and a library part. To use Post/Wait download both patches for your version of the Linux kernel. More details on Post/Wait, and in particular the interface to the library, can be found in the postwait(3) man page. Also, please see the FAQ for more details on configuring your kernel for Post/Wait and using the library.
