There has been some postings in the past about the
problem of using
pthreads with a cliptexture app. This problem is the
result of the
cliptexture pfQueue code using sproc, which is
incompatible with
pthreads. In my web page you can find an sproc
replacement shared object
that uses pthreads. Loading this shared object will
fool any call to
sproc, so that it will use pthreads instead. I've
tried running it with
the cliptex sample program
(/usr/share/Performer/src/pguide/C/cliptex.c), and it
works.
