Mesa?

Hi there. I know I'm supposed to send installation questions to mongoose

but i have and I've received no reply.
So if any one could help me I'd appreciate it.
I've installed Mesa3.1beta3
and I'm able to locate the libGL.so.3 and libGLU.so.3
but the installation is NOT. when I go to run perfly it says it unable
to assess the shared libGL.so.3 and libGLU.so.3
