A couple of suggestions...
1) That we move this discussion to mongoose-feedback++at++corp.sgi.com so we
don't spam all of info-performer with mongoose installation problems.
2) Could you provide us with the following information:
a) Are you using Mesa-3.1beta1 beta2 or beta3? It does make a
difference.
b) Are you attempting to use a hardware-accelerated version of
Mesa or software-only?
i) If hardware-accelerated, what video card and driver
and version of the driver are you using?
c) setenv PFNFYLEVEL 7
perfly anyfile.flt >& log
send us the resulting output (log)
d) setenv LD_LIBRARY_PATH /usr/lib/Performer/Debug
perfly anyfile.flt
gdb /usr/bin/X11/perfly core
(gdb) where
send us the resulting stack trace.
e) Do other file formats work? Try several to verify that the
the problem is stricly "anyfile.flt".
That's all the questions I can think of off-hand. Please reply to this
message with mongoose-feedback++at++corp.sgi.com as the recipient and we'll
work one-on-one with you to help find the problem and solve it.
Thanks,
tom
