My recommendation is to build your own sky model.
You can then control all the details; earth curvature,
day/dusk/night illumination effects, multiple cloud
layers, multiple cloud textures etc.
It can be hard work, but well worth the effort!
Andy.

Subject: earthsky model
Hi there,
The answer is probably no since the earthsky model is used for buffer
clearing purposes but I will ask anyway. Is it possiple to render the
earthsky model onto geomtry (dome for example)? My problem is that the
line between the ground and the sky is not a straight line but a curve.
Maybe someone needed the same thing?
Thank you.
