Thanks to all the Performer crew for answering my Questions down at
ITSEC, I had to run and catch a flight out that night so I couldn't
stick around after the Tutorial. Here are some highlights for those who
did not go...

(tongue firmly in cheek)

1) Jenny explained that to optimize your code you "have to be smart".
(thanks Jenny....<grin>)

2) Angus realized that there was no way to simply explain clip textures
and just gave up descending into GL jargon that left have the people in
the room scratching there heads..... but before he did he used the all
these words in sentences: binatize, good correct data (can the be bad
correct data? how about good incorrect data?), and bad a Walace and
Gromit reference in an attempt to Clip Textures. ("Look Gromit, these
are the wrong trousers....")

3) Allen explained that porting to mongoose is actually easier than
porting to gcc. (OK, this ISN'T a joke but it is still funny)

Everyone pitched in to try to explain what "sgi" REALLY means these
days......
