Performer on RH6.1 and Inventor files

I was wondering if anyone had tried to use Performer (maybe perfly or some
app. you've written) to read and display files in Inventor format (.iv) or
3dStudio (.3ds), or anything other than the Performer and .obj formats.
Performer and .obj formats are the only 2 that seem to be working. When I
try to read anything else, I get the following errors:

I guess this is a "missing DSO" problem? Thanx for any suggestions.
