Recomended hardware for Mongoose

I’m sure a lot of folks have experience installing, configuring and running
performer on Linux. I was wondering if there is a recommended configuration
that works best. Specifically, which graphics card is doing the best job
right now and is a Xeon processor that much better than a PIII and how does
the AMD processors measure up? Can you give us and idea what types of
hardware the Performer developers at SGI are using?
