I seem to recall having had a similar problem when I was using the result of an ASD
query to update the position of a vehicle on the terrain. I believe I was feeding
the result of the query to a pfFCS node. It turns out the problem was not with the
ASD query, but with the pfFCS: the bounding box of a pfFCS is not automatically
recalculated when the position changes, so it was getting culled. The solution is to
either force the bounding box to be recomputed, or else use a pfDCS instead of a
pfFCS (which is what I did).

Hope that helps.
