1) in the programmer's guide, we can read:
"Although InfiniteReality supports cliptextures of virtual size up to
8Mx8M = 2^23x2^23 texels (i.e. 24 levels), the hardware is only capable of
addressing a region of at most 32Kx32K = 2^15x2^15 texels (i.e. 16
levels). By limiting the set of texture MIPMap levels, the cliptextures
can be enlarged. A larger, virtual, cliptexture is defined just like a
normal cliptexture, except that the size of the cliptexture can exceed the
32K X 32K maximum level size dictated by the hardware."
2) in clipgen V 1.1, we can choose the Clip Texture Size at 65536 x 65535
(2^16) for a
non-virtual cliptexture.
What is the maximum non-virtual clip texture size?
thank you
