I'm looking into the possibility of the UK office hosting/running some
Performer training along the lines that Jenny described for ITSEC. I'm open
to suggestions but I was thinking about something that brings together the
group you describe below. For initial training we have the standard 4 day
class - details on our web page. After that the advanced training would be
useful for many, especially if for example we hosted in Theale and used it
as a chance for developers to get together.

We'll sort out a decent answer for this next week, meantime keep suggestions
coming, for example I've often wondered if there's a place for a workshop
based advanced training ( probably not for free ) where attendees bring real
problems or design issues with them...

Cheers
Rob

I would second Gary's comments as below:

At my level of competence there seems to be a large gap
between the trivial and the more complex examples, although
it does not seem that long ago that even the trivial appeared
dauntingly over complex!

As Angus says, the samples provided are invaluable... but
as with most things you can never have enough. Is there a
mechanism for people to submit their own examples for public
consumption?

As a slight aside, and in the cause of mutual support,
I would be interested in making contact with any UK
based Performer developers. Some of you have helped me
out in the past but I am sure there are many more "lurkers"
on the list. If anyone is interested in attempting to
establish an informal group of like minded UK based Performer
people then please mail me.
