Hi, everyone,

It is that time of the year again: ITSEC is right around
the corner. We are looking forward to seeing many old and
new friends at the show.
As always, we will have a Friends of Performer at ITSEC.
Allan Schaffer will send out a real announcement later.

The reason for this email is to get feedback from
you on whether we should give an advanced Performer training
class at ITSEC. In the past two years, we have answered many of the
same questions when we worked with customers. ITSEC seems to be
a very good time to go over these problems all together.

I'd like to propose a one-day Performer training class.
The topics are:
  o Performance tuning
o Multiprocess management -- what happens in pfFrame and pfSync
  o Advanced clipmap techniques
  o Cliptexture creation
  o Multipass rendering
o Porting Performer applications to Linux
  o Distortion correction

The class will cost about $300-$500 per person to cover room rental, lunch,
and course material, depending on the number of attendants.

Would you be interested in attending this class? (We need at least 30 people).
Will it be better to have it on Thursday or Friday?
If you only want to attend half of the course, which 4 topics are most
interesting to you?
Are there any other topics you want to learn?

Please send feedbacks to me directly. If this kind of training
is well received, I will organize more follow-up classes in the future.
Have any suggestions on how we can help people learn Performer?
Please drop me an email as well.

Thank you very much!
