Billboard Problems

I have been having a hard time with the billboard problem. I created two
boxes by using performer and I billboarded one of the boxes and made
another a simple box. However, it seemed that there is some problem with
the billboard library. When I rotate the two objects that I created, I
found that they jump around. Worse yet, everytime it loads with
different conditions, including position and rotation. Can anyone tell
me what the problems are?
Any help will be most appreciated.
