Genlock is a video clock issue. You need a graphics card which can
genlock or at least framelock it's video output to some external sync.
It's a trivial addition but low on the priority of IHV's considering
their market and the lack of even syncing swapbuffers to vertical
retrace. There are a few cards available where genlock is supported but
driver availability of those on Linux may thin the field to zero.
