Yep, if I recall it right the baud rate is set different.
Up to 6.3 the following was used :
port_setup.c_cflag |= B9600;
Starting with 6.4 there are a seperate entry for the io speeds :
port_setup.c_ospeed = B9600;
port_setup.c_ispeed = B9600;
You should also check the baud defines, I think they changed them too.
