Yes Performer work with hardware accelerated libs. I have tried
with a nVidia RIVA TNT. I got "drivers" from www.nvidia.com.
In fact, they are not drivers, but replacement for some X and Mesa
files: glx.so, libGL.so and XF86_SGVA server.
You only have to read Performer for Linux FAQ, and (in case of
RIVA TNT) nVidia linux drivers FAQ.
