On the topic of "Where do I send questions about Mongoose?", we've
gotten a lot of queries about this privately and some traffic here on
the list so I thought I'd clarify a bit:
1. For topics of general interest to other Performer users,
regarding Performer on Linux, Performer on IRIX, etc. please
continue using info-performer.
2. If the topic is something you'd consider specific to your
installation, or to report a problem (especially those along the
lines of "I can't get it to work because of XYZ"), please send
those to mongoose-feedback++at++corp.sgi.com
3. 'mongoose-feedback' is unidirectional, watched over & replied to
by the Performer team. It's not open for external subscribers.
4. And finally, no, there isn't a separate mailing list for Mongoose
discussion, although creating one was considered. If
mongoose-specific traffic becomes unbearable over the long term
we might revisit this but I don't expect such problems to occur.
