Should be possible,

Check the source of /usr/share/Performer/src/lib/libpfutil/gui.c ,
search for MAX_NODES.

Recompile libpfutil, set your LD_LIBRARY{,N32,N64}_PATH appropriately
or copy the recompiled library into /usr/lib{,32,64}.
