Hi All,

Have you ever wondered what's inside your shared arena ? Are you looking
for that nasty memory allocation that is called from your realtime main
loop ? Do you often wonder "how come I've run out of memory so soon" ?
A new tool can be downloaded from my web page, to help those who are
puzzled by these questions. This tool is called arena_debug, and it
shows you a map of your shared arena while your program is running !
You can see what parts of the shared arena are allocated and by which
Performer process. You can also stop the application when allocating
more that a certain size of memory, and see where this allocation is
called from.
The tool comes with minimal documentation for now (understatement of the
year), but it is quite self-explainatory, and anyway, I'll add
documentation soon.

To download, simply go to http://rtset.co.il/rany and click on the
downloads link.

Enjoy,
Ran
