Performer on Linux...

Hi,
   I had downloaded the beta release of the IRIS Performer 2.3 Beta 1.0
for Linux. While downloading from the SGI web-site, there is said among
the other dependencies Motif should also be present. Now does it mean
the non-free Motif( i.e Red Hat 2.1.1- Motif ( Intel )) or any
plug-ins.....can any one clarify on this?
