pfdFindConverterDSO in infinite loop

Hello,

We are using IRIX 6.5.3f and Performer 2.2.4
to create an o32 executable.
When the application calls pfdInitConverter with
"medit" as the string parameter, Performer goes
into some infinite loop producing the following
repetitive error messages. Any ideas what is going on?
