Hi

a pfDCS maps to a Multigen-paradigm DOF bead.

To find a Multigen dof name you can use the following, see man pfNode for further details

pfDCS *dof = NULL;
dof = (pfDCS *)pfFindNode( pfScn or pfNode , "DofbeadName" ,pfGetDCSClassType());

To set or retrieve the values of the DOF see the man pages for pfDCS and pfMatix
also look under /usr/share/Performer/src/pguide/ where several examples use
pfDC's

Regards
Gordon
