Well, one approach (the first one I thought of, maybe not the easiest), is
to send your own XEvents. You could try figuring it out by reading the
man pages (XWarpPointer, XEvent, XSendEvent, XButtonEvent, etc.), but I
really recommend reading the Xlib Programming Manual by O'Reilly &
Associates.
