This is a perfect question to send to Mongoose-feedback!
As Angus explained, cliptexture requires special hardware. But there are
definitely texture paging and load balancing support we could provide
so you can use your cliptexture data on the low end machines somehow.
There are multiple approaches to solve this texture paging problem,
such as the ones from Intrinsic and Paul Hansen.
I am sorry I can not promise you a specific feature right now.
We are busy trying to push out Mongoose 1.0 beta on time.
But we hear you loud and clear.
I'd like to encourage you and everybody to send requests to Mongoose-feedback.
If you can also tell us your reasons(particular deliveries, research interests,
etc.) for the requests and the expected delivery time,
it will help us prioritize features for our next release.

Thank you!
