Are you saying the the presense of the PFQFTR_VLDMEDIA feature
means different things on different platforms? I thought (according
to Peter Shafton's post) that PFQFTR_VLDMEDIA indicates the presence
of the newer VL interface, which should be supported on all IRIX 6.5
platforms. movietex.c uses this feature to make decisions about
VL and DMbufferpool configuration.

Are you saying that a future version of Performer will include a
pfMQueryFeature query token that indicates the presence of DIVO?
