pfdBldr and local lighting

I have a database that would be improved by local lighting
and while it is possible to set the appropriate builder mode
using the command line flags (-O5) it would be cleaner to do
this on loading the data set.

However, while the token: PFDBLDR_MESH_LOCAL_LIGHTING is
defined in pfdu.h it doesnt appear to be implemented
generating a warning of the form: setMode() Unknown mode 5.

Equally, trying to set the mesher mode directly with
PFDMESH_LOCAL_LIGHTING seems to be ignored.

Any hints would be most appreciated,
