Has anyone tried to use Performer and MPU (Multi Pipe Utility) together?
I would like to achieve the retain the good quality stereo viewing, the
ASCII
configuration file, and the ability to move from screen to wall to CAVE
- all
of which comes from MPU with the high performance rendering of
Performer.
The problem is that a lot of functionality overlaps betwee the two APIs
(shared
memory, channels, windows, etc.)
Has anyone got a working example to show how to spit the essential
high-speed
parts of Performer out of the API and add them to MPU? I have tried
with a
simple Performer program (simple.C) but its not working yet. I have the
source
for MPU 1.1 and could try to add MPU functionality to my Performer apps.
Any existion code? Any other Ideas?
Thanks!

My lab system - ONYX2 Deskside with IR and 1RM, 10x8 wall
VETC - 4 pipe/3 rack IR Monster, IR2 pipes with 4 RMs per pipe, CAVE,
24x8 wall, etc
