Performers,

Thanks for letting me take some of your time to reintroduce a web site
designed for the visual simulationist. I groan too when someone
gratuitously sticks a plug on info-performer but I stick my neck out all the
time.

The Problem...
I get questions from new (and old) customers all the time regarding visual
simulation. The SGI SE's and I constantly wrestle getting people up and
running. For the newbies I quickly point them to pfworld, the cornerstone
resource for the best scenegraph around imho. But "how do I build it, where
can I get source data, what company can provide that" and many other
questions relating to computer visualization reoccur constantly and frankly
I'm tired...

A solution...
Create an info packed not for profit web based resource. After talking to a
few partners and one of them taking the initiative putting together the
frame work, vis-sim.org was hatched.

The Mission...
VIS-SIM.ORG is dedicated to supporting the Visual Simulation community. Our
mission is to provide a valuable resource for people and organizations
needing information on products, data, resources and players in the
industry, while maintaining a focus on defense-related vis-sim technologies
and research.

Register to win a free Onyx2 and performer dev 2.3....... kidding. Btw...a
quick disclaimer...this site is not related in anyway to
MultiGen-Paradigm---or any other company for that matter. It's a site for
people who need to get things done... kinda like info-performer...period

Bookmark this site www.vis-sim.org. The commercial is over. Back to pfing.

thanks
