There are probably lots of people out there more qualified than me to answer that.  As far as I know, the only differences between a pfMemory and a pfObject are that: I would say that which you use depends on which is most annoying for you:  having to specify the shared memory arena when you instance your class, or having to call pfConfig() before you instance it.
