problem with .iv files (SoShape::errorCB)

Hi All:

Does anyone have any experience with the following Inventor error:
"Inventor error in SoShape::errorCB(): GLU error: need combine callback"
??

It only comes up on a couple of our .iv files (after pfdLoadFile).
We've looked at the ASCII versions of the offending files and nothing
*seems* to be out of order. I'm not positive, but I believe the files
were created using Showcase. One theory is that Showcase has screwed up
the conversion somehow (even though nothing shows up in the ASCII text)

Any assistance, pointers to other info, etc. is very much appreciated.
