moving from performer 1.2 --> 2.2

I have two Onyx machines:
(1) Source machine: Onyx-Reality with Performer1.2
(2) Target machine: Onyx2-IR with Performer2.2

What is the least painful way to take applications developed on (1) and have
them run on (2).

Is it possible *without* making any changes to the source code?
