RE: MultiGen duplicate pitch ladder in Performer application

Is there supposed to be a performance advantage to using a HUD created in
MultiGen over the use of a post draw callback with OpenGL calls? I suppose
starting one from scratch would be a pain in the tush. While we're on it, is
anyone clipping the a HUD representation in response to headtracking out
there?
