Hi,

Did anybody already have this problem ?

Using the accumulation buffer on Octane ( 2 300 MHZ IP30 Processors,
Graphics board: EMXI, IRIX 6.5, and Frame Buffer configuration with
16bits r,g,b,a accumulation buffer) drops drastically the performances.

pfDraw();
                               => 60.0/60.0Hz Lock Draw =1.5ms

pfDraw();
glAccum( GL_LOAD, fadeValue );
glAccum( GL_RETURN, 1.0f );
                               => 4.3/60.0Hz Lock Draw =230.9ms

Using accumulation buffer has no impact on Onyx 2 - Draw times
(60.0/60.0Hz
Lock Draw =0.7ms) are the same for both case on an Onyx 2.

I was expecting a little drop of performance on the Octane but not a so
huge one.

Thanks in advance for any informations about this behavior.
Any suggestions to eliminate or dicrease this performance drop will
be very appreciate.

Isabelle.
