 MULTIGEN-PARADIGM UK LTD. TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

Provide technical assistance, and training for Technical Support, Sales
staff, and customer base for all of MultiGen-Paradigm's Product line. Serve
as a source of technical information for all corporate personnel. Provide
team members and management with customer support call summaries and alert
the team of potential problems or conflicts. To resolve difficult or complex
technical support questions and provide our customer base with accurate
solutions.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1) Manage the technical aspects of telephone and on-site support. Provide
technical support to MultiGen-Paradigm Inc. end-users by coaching them
through problems and assisting them with new capabilities. This includes
customer call entry, follow-up resolutions and providing software licenses
to our customer base.

2) Work with engineering and QA staff to ensure that customer calls are
resolved in a timely and efficient manner. Logging and follow-up of
customer calls when calls are related to any software features.

3) Provide customised training within MultiGen-Paradigm's entire product
line for in-house and at the customer site locations. Additionally, deliver
application consulting services.

SECONDARY REQUIREMENTS:

Provide Seminar support by product demonstrations and technical support for
potential evaluation sites. Additional activities include technical
briefings, and the development of (API's) applications programmers interface
using MultiGen-Paradigm Inc. products, consisting of our Run-Time and
Modeling tools; VEGA and its suite of modules and options, MultiGen II PRO
and CREATOR PRO along with our Immersive Assembler - SmartScene.

ATTITUDE AND INTERPERSONAL EXPECTATIONS:

1) Must exhibit good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with
team members and clients.
2) Must work in a positive and supportive manner as a team member.
3) Must have a positive and professional telephone manner.
4) Must be self-motivated and work extra hours and/or inconvenient times, as
the position requires.
5) Must be flexible and willing to perform unrelated job functions.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS NEEDED:

1) Must have 3D Graphics experience. Exposure to database generation
systems: including MultiGen (tm),
Designer's WorkBench (tm), EasyT (tm), Easiest (tm), and other relevant 3-D
Graphics tools. Familiarity with real-time graphics applications and APIs:
including Performer, OpenGL, and specifically VEGA and any other real-time
packages are desired.

2) Must be detail oriented and accurate with excellent follow through
habits. Must accurately prioritize work and successfully problems solve.
Must trouble shoot software related problems quickly and accurately.

3) Should have experience working in a fast-paced environment and to work
effectively under pressure.

4) Knowledge of SGI UNIX, PC NT platforms, word processing, database
programs as well as C/C++ experience is required.

5) Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Graphics Arts, or related field, or
equivalent education / experience. Work experience of 5+ years in the
related field of technical support, field service or engineering is desired.
