Ircombine only lets you load video combinations that already exist. If
you want nonstandard video formats like 1024x1024, you will have to use
video format compiler (vfc) to create your own. This software does not
get loaded by default from your IRIX 6.5.x CDs.

Alternatively, if refresh rate is not an issue, you could use a
1280x1024
setting and render to just 1024x1024...
